Hi guys,

Last weekend I went to visit Jules’s house. She has moved since I last visited her and I really like her new  house by a lake in a countryside. In Jules’s house there was a real Christmas atmosphere. I loved their real Christmas tree with Santa on the top and I got to wear a pair of reindeers antlers too. Gemma is Jules’s dog and I had a chat to her about some ideas for Christmas presents. As far as I could gather, she would like a nice juicy bone and perhaps some nice dog biscuits. Then it was time to go and make myself cosy in Jules’s bed and have a well-deserved rest. I loved Jules’s house and can’t wait to  go there to visit again.

Hi again

I had a great rest during the holidays.  I hope you had fun too.  In class the kids having building bridges with popsicle sticks.  You should see them - they look fantastic!

Anyway, you can see some photos of my friend Jules in a wheelchair.  There are also some other monkeys with her. 

All the kids in Room 6 have been helping her.  We hope Jules gets better very soon!

Today I went up the famous Wedgie Tree and I almost fell off.  Luckily my friends Phoebe, Beth and Jacqui saved me!  Phoebe has come to visit us from Australia where she lives in Queensland.  She is staying at her grandparent’s house in Whangarei.  I climbed the spiders web and it took ages to get to the top.  Phoebe took a photo of me going down the wooden slide and I shouted, “Weeeeeeeeee!”  It was very exciting!

Another great day at Maungatapere.

I have just had the most amazing adventure with Alex, Lauryn, Brayden, Jackson and Josh.  Oh, I almost forgot...Mrs Godfrey was watching to make sure that I didn’t climb too many tall trees! 

We went to the junior playground first where we played on the slide.  I was a bit scared at first but Brayden was there to keep me safe!  Jackson helped me on the flying fox...I think he is more like a monkey than I am!!  I wonder if he eats bananas too!  He is not as hairy as me!!

Alex put me really high up in the bars and held me tight so that I would not fall down.  He was a really kind friend to me!  He made me laugh because he is a cool guy!

Mr Marker (Josh) took me up to the lookout on the very top of the senior playground and I nearly fell off the climbing wall.  Jackson held on to me so that I could watch the view from the top and still feel safe!

Lauryn also put me on the bridge and I was blown over by the wind and I fell on to the ground.  Luckily I bounced!

Thanks for another fantastic adventure.  I can’t wait for the next one.
