Thursday Night at Pippi's house

It was a rainy afternoon when Olli and Angel came home on the school bus with Pippi. They really wanted to get out for a bounce on the trampoline but Pippi made up some games for them to play inside. They had a pizza picnic for tea and Pippi read them some stories before bed time.

FW: A Great Time With Harry!

When Harry came home with Olli we were so excited and wanted to show Olli a good time, and make sure that Olli and Harry never forgot the fun they had together…

These guys hit it off from the first moment, they had pancakes with syrup for breakfast with loads and loads of sugar then went out on the quad…. up and down the driveway, around the hills they had so much fun.

Harry & Olli’s motto is that “sharing is caring” so when Harry’s big sister Chloe and Georgia the Gorilla (named by Chloe) asked if she could have a play the boys said YES….

Harry and Chloe had to do all the steering on the quad as they decided Olli and Georgia weren’t old enough to drive on their own, this very responsible behaviour was rewarded with 4 cookies, and continued throughout the day...

The next adventure for Harry & Olli was driving the golf cart for daddy and Uncle Ray.

They were fantastic at this; Harry had shots of the tee, down the fairway and potted a few but the best part was driving the off-road golf cart. After a long day harry and Olli went home for a well-earned rest.

The Fielding’s loved having Olli and his mate around for a play and will never forget the fun we had together.

Thanks

Harry

Olli's road trip

Olli came home with us for an exciting weekend away, we were going to Auckland and Hamilton to see Clara's cousins! It was Clara's big cousins 21st birthday so it was a big adventure!

Olli was buckled into the car and set of with Clara, Ella and Mum to stay a night in Auckland, and then down to Hamilton. We saw lots of interesting things on the way - the sky tower, the Auckland Harbour bridge and the busy Auckland Motorway.

Olli didn't stay up very late at the party on Saturday night, but really enjoyed trying lollies from the lolly table and looking at all the birthday presents the next day!

It was a quick trip, but lots of fun!

Thanks for coming with us Olli.

Super Hero Day In Room 10

Wow

We all had so much fun today!  We all dressed up as Super Heroes and Mrs Hamilton was even more wonderful than usual when she dressed as Wonder Woman!  Check out these cool photos.  Olli forgot all about it though!  Nevermind!

Olli's sleepover at Logan's House

Olli visits Logan & Arliyas for a sleepover.

Olli and his mate visit Logan & Arliya for a Sleepover.

Today Olli came home with Logan. We had some afternoon tea. Then we were off on an adventure, we showed Olli around, first the trampoline, then the playhouse and slide. Arliya made rose petal and mud cakes with Olli's friend.

We sat on the tractor, Olli was a bit scared he liked the motorbike better. He wants to go fishing one weekend with us. He hopped in the boat, and sat in the driver's seat.

He tried to get our strawberries, we let him have a couple.

Olli liked our garden and thought the poppy looked good, He looked for something to eat but nothing was ready to eat.

After all that Olli and I were tired so we had dinner and went to bed.

Thanks for visiting us Olli, we had a great time with you, if you visit again maybe we can go fishing  and catch a Marlin.

Tayla & Olli's Zion Adventure

Tayla was so excited when Mr Mouat said she could bring home Ollie to take with her to the Lion Park. It was going to be a cool adventure!

Here is Tayla’s story.. Me and Ollie woke up in the morning on Tuesday.  Ollie and I were getting dressed and I put Ollie in the bag we just had to wait for Daddy. We all hoped in to the car together and we were off to the Lion Park.

We walked around the park with a big group of people and we saw lots of big Lions and Tigers. Some were white, gold and one was all black. Some had stripes and some had spots.

It was so much fun today. Ollie and I had so much fun seeing all the lions today and watching them eat their meat. We had to stand behind the fence to keep safe and away from the scary Lions and Tigers.

My favourite Lion was the big one like on the Lion King, his name was Zion. Ollie was lucky to get a photo with Zion.

Thanks for  coming to play with me Olli,

Love Tayla

Asha- Roses first day with Olli

I was so excited when Mr Mouat asked Olli if he wanted to come to my place, and guess what ? Olli said yes, yippee we couldn’t wait to get home and have loads of fun together. The first thing we did was get our homework done, Olli is pretty smart ! we also had some afternoon tea because we were starving hungry. We then set off to play with the bunny’s and give them their dinner......(check out the photo which one is the Orang-utan in the cage?) Olli and his friend had a cuddle with my bunny, Bungy they all look so cute together.

Then we decided we wanted to be twins so we found ourselves some matching PJ’s and we set off to play outside, “Yes in our PJ’s” funny ah! Olli loved the trampoline & the slide. Time just flew by and it was time to come in and have dinner and off to bed for stories, but Olli did do a bit of light reading with daddy for a wee while before we jumped into our beds, mum made Olli a bed next to mine because Olli was to fat to fit in my bed, and we both went fast asleep.

I had so much fun with Olli the Orang-utan and heaps of cuddles. Thank you Mr Moat for letting me take him home to my place.

Lily-Anna has a visit from Ollie the Orangutan!

Lily-Anna told her mother she'd bought a friend home for the night.  Her mum got such a surprise to find she had an Orangutan AND a gorilla in her school bag.

After the initial shock, they thought they should find out a little about what these primates like to eat and where they like to sleep - they've never had an Orangutan or a gorilla stay at their house before.

They discovered that Orangutans are quite social and very playful.  They live in trees in the forest. They mostly eat fruit.

Luckily there were plenty of bananas.  Orangutans and gorillas eat a lot!

The first thing that Lily thought Ollie needed was a hair brush.  Lily-Anna's two sisters were pleased to meet Ollie also.  Lily didn't know if the gorilla had a name so she decided to name the gorilla "Daisy" after her younger sister!?  Ollie watched while Lily-Anna did some colouring in, and then they played schools together.  Ollie and "Daisy the gorilla" were excellent pupils.  Then Lily decided to take Ollie and Daisy to show them her play house.  It was raining and quite cool outside, so she dressed them up really well in warm jackets and hats.  They both really liked it in the playhouse – it reminded them of where they normally live – in the trees.

While they ate dinner, the primates sat in Lily's sisters baby seat.

That night, Ollie and Daisy slept beside Lily in her bed – I wonder if Gorillas snore?

Thanks for visiting, Ollie and Daisy the gorilla.

I hope you didn't teach Lily and her sister's any monkey tricks!
